The mountains of Bukhansan National Park

View toward the Bukhansan mountains (북한산) from the N Seoul Tower area in Namsan Park (남산공원), Seoul. The granite peaks and ridgelines of the Bukhansan massif—home to several of its highest summits, such as Baegundae (백운대), Insubong (인수봉), Mangyeongdae (만경대), etc.—rise beyond the forested slopes of Bugaksan (북악산). On the ridge in the foreground, the traditional pavilion of Bugak Palgakjeong (북악팔각정) can be seen, marking the historic mountain pass overlooking the city.
