Serene Morning at Laguna Nimez

A beautiful shot from the Laguna Nimez Reserve in El Calafate. Chilean Flamingos (Phoenicopterus chilensis) in the foreground contrast with the snow-capped summits of the Andes Mountains. The shot, captured at a focal length of 150mm, creates a powerful illusion of closeness, magnifying peaks that are, in reality, very distant, far beyond the vast Lago Argentino.
