Mochi arrived just a few weeks ago, a tiny stray I rescued from the street. His real age is unknown, though he seems both younger and smaller than he should be—most likely shaped by early malnutrition. Despite that, he’s incredibly affectionate, always wanting to be close, as if he’s making up for all the warmth he missed.
Now his little body is finally catching up. His coat has started to shine, his steps are steadier, and every day he leans into our care a bit more. There’s still a long road ahead, challenges we’re learning to face together… but watching him heal has already been its own quiet victory.
