Cyanoloxia glaucocaerulea

This Glaucous-blue Grosbeak (Cyanoloxia glaucocaerulea) was observed late in the morning during my walk along the scrubby, thorny vegetation near the shores of Laguna Garzón. The bird stayed on the ground, occasionally moving among low shrubs, showing the characteristic deep bluish coloration of the adult male.

• Glaucous-blue Grosbeak, Indigo grosbeak
• Azulito, Reinamora chica, Picogrueso índigo
