The Korail Class 311000, popularly known as 삼눈이 (“Samnuni”, meaning “three eyes” in Korean, referring to its distinctive front light configuration), is a series of electric commuter trains widely used in the Seoul metropolitan area. Introduced by Korail to improve suburban transportation, this model has been a cornerstone of the rail system since the 1990s.

This generation includes updated features such as LED headlights, LCD passenger displays, and a simplified Taeguk-themed livery, which is only applied to the front ends and doors. The design consists of a blue background with a thin red stripe.
