The mountain of Tindaya is located in the northwest of Fuerteventura, very close to La Oliva. The ancient aborigines of Fuerteventura considered Tindaya a sacred mountain to which magical properties were attributed, as attested by more than 300 foot-shaped engravings of great archaeological value, which have been found on it. This solitary mountain, 400 meters high and sculpted by the passage of time, stands out in the arid and flat landscape of Fuerteventura.
